Captain's Spices and Herbs Aromatic Mahlab
Description: With an intense aroma and taste, reminiscent of bitter almonds and cherries. Mahlab is collected from a type of wild cherry. It is produced when cherry pips are broken and their kernels ground.
Uses: Used in drinks, bread, brioches, cookies, biscuits, New Year’s cake and pastries in general.
Combinations: Combined with allspice, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, ginger, nutmeg and sesame.
